4th saturday

Community Feeding

At Lily Missions Center, we believe in the power of compassionate service and community connection. That’s why, on the 4th Saturday of every month, we come together with our partners—Compassionate Ministries of Jackson County, local churches, and others—to host a Community Feeding Event that brings food and fellowship to those in need. Inspired by the story of David’s compassion for Mephibosheth, where David showed kindness and care for someone in need, we seek to extend that same compassion and generosity to our neighbors.

Meeting Needs with Compassion

A heart for the community

The 4th Saturday Community Feeding Event is more than just about providing meals. It’s a chance for us to step outside of our own walls and show the love of Christ to the community. By partnering with others in the area, we are able to reach more people, share more resources, and make a greater impact. It’s a time of giving, but also of building connections, strengthening relationships, and fostering a sense of belonging in the Jackson community.

The 4th Saturday Community Feeding Event

is a tangible way we live out our belief that serving others is at the heart of what it means to be a community of faith. We recognize the importance of meeting both physical and emotional needs, and we offer a meal to anyone who comes through our doors. We want to make sure that no one goes hungry, and that everyone who attends feels valued and cared for.
